Public Investment in Infrastructure at the State, County, or City level has been instrumental in transforming Arizona over the last 100 year. Prior generations of Arizonans thought boldly about their future and the future of their children. Investments in Water, Power and Transportation infrastructure have transformed our landscape and and attracted many businesses and families to the southwest desert. These essential investments (e.g. CAP, Roosevelt Dam, Routes 101, 202 and 303, Palo Verde Nuclear Power Station) have improved our quality of life and provided a strong foundation for many years to come.

What will be our next bold venture? Will it include public - private investments, will it be public investment only, or will we introduce new models that incentivizes private investment to take up the lions share of the investment and maintenance?
